S. Eliot's "The Waste Land" and told the story of Caroline - "...Like most of us, she is awake for a handful of moments each day-most of which appear in opposition to our normal sense of reality. The story of Caroline takes note only of these seemingly disjointed awake moments...This is the Waste Land."
