Very minor wear to extremities, strong and handsome, some very slight dulling of the gilt; internally clean, sky blue stain to page edges, red silk page marker; in a clean, strong example of the card slipcase with a printed title label to spine. A very good, distinguished copy.

An attractively produced facsimile edition of a number of Crumb's sketchbooks, showing his artistic process, sudden inspiration, and the evolution of a very recognizable and iconic art style.
