Two volumes bound in yearly volume. Also found in this 1845 edition, in the biographical and critical column "Our Contributors", an article about Poe by James Russell Lowell, accompanied by a very clean engraved portrait of Poe from the painting by A.C. Smith. See photos. Bound in marbled boards and with matching endpapers. Spine is a bit frayed at extremities. Both cover show rubbing. Internally quite clean with several color fashion plates.
