Bound in blue cloth with titles and decoration in black on Spine. Black border on front board. Square and tight with very mild shelf-wear. Very light, scattered foxing to the prelims but generally a clean interior with no toning. Very well--preserved. Very attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, (1'- on spine panel), has an unnecessary run of tape on the reverse bottom edge that shows through on the flaps and rear panel. It seems this was to fix a small closed tear at the heel but not sure why the lat length of tape was used. Very little wear otherwise and fresh and bright with no chipping or creases. A sharp example of a classic cover by J.Allen St. John. A very pretty collectable copy and early printings, in such nice condition especially, are quite uncommon.
