Lacks dust jacket with a handful of instances of highlighting. A special significance among Mormons belongs to David Whitmer (1805-1888). He was an eyewitness of the founding of Mormonism, and, naturally, his accounts of its origin provide pertinent information and appropriately carry significant weight. What is particularly significant is that even though he broke with Joseph Smith within ten years of his first involvement, and became one of the Prophet's detractors, his testimony continues (truncated)
