Addressed to museum director Zdenek Felix, with receipt stamp dated “6.März 1992.” Deutsches Bundespost telegram sheet, printed on one side, two horizontal folds. N.p.: 1992.


An On Kawara (29,771 days) telegram transmitted in 1992 to the director of Hamburg’s Deichtorhallen, Dr. Zdenek Felix (b. 1938). Their correspondence began in 1972 around the time Felix edited the catalogue for the 1972 Kunstmuseum Basel exhibition “Konzept” – Kunst (18 March-23 April). Felix received no less than 15 telegrams from Kawara.
