Byron was an English poet and one of the major figures of the Romantic movement. He was, of course, famous for his pretentious good looks and his brilliant, reckless personality. A lovely set bound in 3/4 red morocco over marbled paper covered boards, raised bands with compartments lettered and decorated in gilt, top edges gilt, just a touch (truncated) of faint foxing to a few outer margins.
