Original quarter green cloth, pictorial paper boards. Illustrated by Wain with 6 color plates and black-and-white images on every text page, 9 of which are double-page and 95% of which are of cats. 144 pages. Ink stamped owner name on front fly leaf. Front hinge cracked but still firm. Leaves uniformly toned, with some soil around margins. Moderate soil and edgewear to boards. Firm.
