Contemporary half morocco binding, rebacked with red morocco, with original spine label, although partly perished, re-mounted onto the spine. Marbled paper pastedown contemporary, along with the title label mounted onto it. Plain endpapers. The original part of the binding has some grittiness and roughness, with corner leather chips, edgewear, spots of paper loss to pastedown. The leaves have a considerable amount of foxing and other soiling. One repaired closed tear. Offsetting on the heavy side.
