[a decent copy, but with noticeable wear to the extremities, half-title page partially stuck to front pastedown; the jacket has suffered paper loss along the top and bottom edges and the spine, and the rear panel is blemished by a number of old yellowed tape repairs (the jacket is pretty much held together by a paper-lined jacket protector, which was on the book when acquired by us, and which we have chosen not to replace in order not to risk further damage)].
