[Louisville], n.d. [probably early 20th century]. Approximately 10 x 15 cm. Thre small corners creased or chipped; otherwise sound and clean and probably never mounted in a scrapbook. Mr. Blue's note: "Mrs Perry -- I can recommed The Youth's Companion to supplement young William's studies. Respectfully, Thom. F. Blue = Colored Branch Librarian." Online information states that Blue first became head of a colored branch library in Louisville in 1905 which may mean that this inscription dates 1905 or later. (Inventory #: 95606)
