[Photo Album] Two Photography Albums of US State Capitol Buildings
- [no place]: [no publisher], 1930
Organized by page and arranged in alphabetical order by state name, with the first volume containing Alabama through Montana, and the second Nebraska through Wyoming. Each state capitol includes one 5x7" or 4x6" image surrounded by smaller images of varying sizes, all neatly mounted with corner tabs. Each state page has what appears to be a later state-themed paper stamp-sized label. In addition to the front facade, in most cases, the photographer also captured all sides of the building, as well as the interior of the various domes.
Near Fine with light wear to covers, rubbing at extremities and fraying to string ties. One image missing from front pastedown of the second album. A unique and well-preserved collection documenting the architecture of America's state capitol buildings.
