OCLC locates only 2 copies one at Univ. Southern Florida and one at Emory Univ. Library. The story of a boy named Ulrich who is the caregiver of his ill foster mother. The story traces the hardship of his life as his mother dies and leaves him to fend for himself. The story has a happy ending with the boy reuniting with his loving grandfather. There are moral lessons learned along the way.
