Also included in the letter section is a letter from Ursula Le Guin stating that she also received a letter from Phil explaining *VALIS* and shares the letter she wrote back to him telling him that he's a great artist but was upset by *VALIS* and can no longer follow his art that used to bring her solace and joy, but she keeps trying.
