Salt Lake City: [Bankers Utilities Company]. Small [5 cm x 4 cm x 9 cm] polished metal with a brass label attached to the front. Oval base with a swivel handle on top. Key for lock is present. Piggy bank from the longtime Utah financial institution. The Walker Brothers were a prominent Salt Lake Family of merchants and bankers who secured a national charter in 1885. In 1956 it was purchased by TransAmerica, and by 1981 the name Walker Brothers Bank disappeared into First Interstate Bank.
