Later printing; a revised and enlarged edition of Our Home Favorite, published in 1882. First published under this title in 1885. A community church cookbook with attributed recipes, arranged into chapters with blanks at the end of each section for recipes to be added. Lacking free front endpaper, some discoloration to first leaf of advertisements, front hinge a bit pulled but holding. Otherwise throughout. In remarkably clean and bright blank-decorated and gilt-titled rust colored cloth. Pencil ownership signature, "C. Augusta Adams", to first leaf of advertisements. Handwritten recipes on several blanks, including "Whoopee Salad", "Grape Conserve", and "Dina's Ice Cream"; with a sheet of stationery laid-in containing handwritten recipes in the same hand for "Molasses Candy" and "Velvet Molasses Candy".
