Includes three typed letters laid-in: one addressed to literary agent Laurence Pollinger (of Pearn, Pollinger & Higham), another addressed to Frederic Warburg, and a third to Roger Stenhouse. All letters relate to the appearance of some Thompson poems in this volume that had already appeared in POEMS, released by U.K. publishers Secker & Warburg in 1946. This listing includes a first edition of POEMS (1946), in very good condition with the publisher's dust jacket.
