Paris: Amédée Bédelet, [ca. 1850]. A delightful French nineteenth century alphabet still preserved in its fragile decorated boards. There eight colored lithographs show scenes of country life which are accompanied by charming woodcuts of birds and animals. Title-page foxed, but overall a fine copy. Extremely rare with OCLC listing only digital copies.
