[vi], 147, [6] pp. Bound in publisher's tan cloth decoratively stamped in silver, brown and gilt. Very Good with light edge wear, soiling and foxing to covers with softened corners and small ink stain to fore edge. Hinges tender, lacking the frontispiece, first gathering shaken from binding, creasing to "My Mocking-bird" plate, and light toning to contents. The author's breakout novel and the first of the A Kentucky Cardinal series; a scarce signature. BAL459.
