Each plate portrays a different historical scene or military figure, incorporating a martial instrument such as a drum or a horn. Executed in great detail detail, with bold, vivid colors, this is a very beautiful book in unusually nice condition. 19'' x 13''. Original pictorial portfolio with ribbon ties with 11 individual pochoir plates (including title page), loose as issued. Portfolio with bump to top corner, faint toning at margins, rubbing here and there; plates bright and beautiful.
