Contemporary bookcloth in a pebble grain design, publisher's printed paper label. Two folding maps, three plans as well as tables. Binding soiled. one corner of the label is abraded, and the texblock shows light foxing typical of the period. All in all a very good copy of a scarce books.
The text includes numerous observations of Indians of the area, as well as a Chippewa vocabulary.
