A novel of New York street gangs in the 1960s that inspired Walter Hill's 1979 film by the same name, a cult classic that in turn inspired a series of video games and comic books. Actor David Kelly delivered the film's iconic line, "Warriors, come out to play," in a menacing singsongy style, which, once you've heard it, is difficult to forget.
