A slim volume with the excerpt of Sawtelle's history of Mount Desert from Sprague's Journal reproduced in book form. The author inscribed this copy "To Edward C. Moran, Jr. / In humble acknowledgement of his great work on the Pioneers of the Mount Desert Region. / From William Otis Sawtelle. August 30, 1933.".
