Dayton, Ohio: Dayton Urban League, 1949. Very Good. Narrow folded four-page program for this one day gathering. 10 x 24 cm. as folded. Four sessions (Education; Social Welfare and Religious Agencies; Housing; and Employment) ran simultaneously from 10 am to noon followed by a Luncheon session. which was to include reports from the four sessions and an address by *J. Harvey Kerns of the National Urban League titled "Practical Measures for Implementing Brotherhood Ideals." The remarks prepared by Horneck, a presumably white Sociology professor at the University of Datyon, seems to have been pessimistic about anything being done to fix the housing problem other than "endless discussion and fruitless results.
