The Bloated Goat was a tavern in Mogollon, New Mexico that the old-timers in the region used to frequent to swap yarns about the turbulent days before New Mexico was a state and Mogollon a ghost town. These are stories of good men and badmen, stories of gold and of animals; from memory and from the author's diaries. "Has some material on the Wild Bunch, Butch Cassidy, Elza Lay, William H.
