A particularly attractive illustrated billhead, featuring a large color image of a saloon with large wooden bar, billiard tables, and elaborate chest. Advertises M.J. Bernhard, manufacturers of pool and billiard tables, water motor fans, saloon and store fixtures, cigar cases, and bar screens. Measures approx. 11" by 8.5". Letter written in contemporary ink dated Sept. 1, 1898, and signed by the owner of the company requesting "a few dozen springs for locks" from a hardware store.
