Christmas Card

  • n.p.: n.p., 1930
By Clark, John Maurice
n.p.: n.p., 1930. Very good. Single sheet folded twice to make a 4 page card 5 by eight inches. The front cover bears an illustration signed J. M. C. depicting two boys decorating a Christmas tree and two terriers, one of them playing with a garland. The message reads as follows: "A Merry Christmas to you from Winifred & John Maurice, Little John & Dusty Clark, Meg Merilees & Angus MacFergus, 1930. Inside is the handwritten note: Affectionately, Winifred & John Maurice. A tiny bit of soil on the rear (blank) cover, else this is a very good exemplar.

John Maurice Clark (1884-1963) was an American Economist who developed 'workable competition' and the theoretical basis of modern Keynesian economics. He authored books on economics, especially on market economy.
