Publisher's blackish-green cloth with gilt lettering & design; in rare publisher's unrestored illustrated dustjacket with the price "$1.30" printed in red on spine. Book is in about fine condition, with light rubbing to spine ends. The dust jacket is in fine condition (faint small circular stain on spine; short closed tear & crease at upper front edge). London's autibiographical novel dealing with his enjoyment of drinking and struggles with alcoholism. The title is taken from the British folksong "John Barleycorn".
