He was the longtime editor of Daedalus, the journal of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, from 1961 to 1999, while continuing to teach at Brown and Harvard. Graubard wrote a biography of Kissinger's early days, titled "Kissinger: Portrait of a Mind" (1973), focusing on his early writings while at Harvard.
