Bound in publisher's red cloth with spine lettered in black. Near Fine with light wear, in a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light wear, small closed tear to top edge of front panel mended with archival tissue on verso, and a little scratching and scuffing to rear panel and flap.

A nice copy of the late artist's Neo-expressionist monograph. Published to accompany an exhibition at the at the Galerie Bruno Bischofberger in Zurich January 19 - February 16, 1985. Includes black and white photo frontispiece of of the artist taken by Jeannette Montgomery and twelve full page illustrations of his paintings, including a fold-out triptych. Basquiat would tragically die from a heroin overdose just three years after this exhibition, a member of the 27 Club. Books signed by him are uncommon.
