Boards slightly sunned, front free endpaper with wrinkles and a 2" closed tear. Bookplate. A very good copy in the plain dust-jacket (sunned and lightly edgeworn).

§ Limited to 325 copies printed by the Grabhorn Press. Edited, with a biographical sketch by Edith M. Coulter. Seven illustrations reproduce the earliest views of San Francisco drawn by a '49er; the eighth is of Benicia. The originals are in the Bancroft Library.
