A very good copy, clean with just a hint of age toning and with the original prospectus and order envelope laid in, bookplate on front pastedown; dust-jacket good only with loss and chipping to the spine panel.

§ Limited to 400 copies printed at the Allen Press. Edited by Henry Nash Smith and Frederick Anderson. Sketches written by Twain while living in San Francisco as a young reporter for the Territorial Enterprise.
