Written by the president of the Long Island Railroad and New York City reformer to the business manager (later editor) of the Brooklyn Eagle, arranging free train passes for newspapermen, in part: "...I want you at all times not to hesitate to ask me for any transportation which you know will be a good business proposition for both of us..." Pale imprint of typewriter ink from another letter seen along bottom margin; marks on the corners from an adhesive on the back. Very good(-) condition. (Inventory #: 5317)
