Original Cartoon Sketch Signed

An influential cartoonist, Sterrett is best remembered for his popular comic strip, "Polly and Her Pals," with Paw being the main and most recognizable character. The comic strip was syndicated through Hearst publications from 1912-1958, when Sterrett retired. Other comic strips with central female characters followed.

Original color sketch of Paw, signed, undated, on 3 1/2 x 7 1/4 card stock. The drawing is rendered in black ink and colored pencil. In very good condition.
