A 19th-century bird's-eye view of New York City and the surrounding region, engraved for The New York Manual of 1868, an annual publication commissioned by the New York State government. Matted and presented in a black wood frame under glass. Dimensions - Print: 16 x 11.5 in., Frame: 23 x 18.75 in. In Very Good condition. Print with light age-toning, scattered foxing, and vertical center fold. Minor surface abrasions and light discoloration. The frame exhibits light surface wear with minimal loss at the edges. The mat shows water stains to lower right and left corners. Shelved at Rockville PS1101. 1406972. Special Collections - Upstairs.
