An advertising poster/broadside promoting "Wyckoff's Patent Boring Machine", a product bringing "Great Improvement in Water Pipe and Chain Pump Tubing". The intended users of this product range from farmers, railroad superintendents, and pump dealers, to "village corporations" (i.e. users of city water?). States that the pipes made form the machine " have been extensively and thoroughly tested in most of the Northern States, for the past two years, and wherever introduced they immediately supersede all of kinds of Pipe or Chain Pump Tubing". Includes testimonial at foot reprinted from the Scientific American. Measures approx. 19" by 12
