The first cookbook of Maura Laverty (1907 - 1966), the Irish novelist, playwright, journalist, broadcaster and cookery expert. Her 1960 cookbook Full & Plenty is considered a classic collection of Irish recipes. With decorations by the Irish artist Louis Le Brocquy early in his career. Some light offsetting to endpapers, otherwise internally clean and sound. In publisher's bright blue cloth, titled in white at the spine and on the front panel. Dust jacket has light soiling and some small chips to the corners. Fine in a near very good dust jacket. Scarce in good condition.
