Two Buenos Aires Restaurant Menus 1920s
Very good. This is a listing for two different menus from restaurants in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first is for a restaurant that appears to be named Felix and is a double-sided menu. The front features writing along the left side of the menu, and the inside also looks like it was handwritten and has faded over time. The back has a printed wine and beer list with markings along the prices. This menu measures 11½” x 9¼”.
The second menu features illustrations on the front including a portrait of a woman with roses and a couple sitting at a table. Other illustrations appear to be ads for cigars and wines. Inside the menu looks handwritten with all the menu offerings and along both sides of the menu are more ads. The back features the offerings for champagne, liquor and cigars with an illustration of a cigar at the bottom of the page. The menu measures 13¾” x 8”.
