Six 5" x 7" Mid-Century B&W Editorial Nude Male Physique Photograph Prints from the "Beefcake" Era of Photography

Likely taken during the 1950s-70s beefcake era, which is characterized by a rise in published male nude photographs, which exist today as an early visualization of suppressed homoerotic desire. For many of these mid-century male physique photographers, a way of loopholing pornography allegations was to use specific poses in order to claim their photography as erotic art rather than pornography, which is likely the reason for this series of poses in this fashion. Other than some curling at the edges, these prints are in very good condition. .
