The happy ladies are jumping on an early patented version of the pogo stick, notably without handles. Based on the description typed on the verso, the pogo riders are Catherine Hughes and Dorothea Kent, both Universal Studios actresses in Hollywood. Hughes was known for starring in early Westerns, including two Gene Autry films. Kent was less well-known but held roles in Pin Up Girl, Some Blondes are Dangerous, and Million Dollar Legs.
