A homoerotic photo-novel consisting of a twelve-page German-language story, "Der schwüle Casanova" ("The Queer Casanova") by the pseudonymous John Newhouse, illustrated with 19 pages of color photos, mostly full-page. The text and images recount the urban sexual adventures of a young White British college boy and his conquests of other young men around Western Europe and Scandinavia.

Shot on location in the streets of Copenhagen, the initial photos show the protagonist and his date sporting clever suits and ties to attend a performance of the drama The Boys in the Band by Mart Crowley (1935–2020). Starring noted Danish actors Preben Kaas, Klaus Pagh and Anders Stefansen, the production opened at the Aveny Theatre in 1969.

The photos throughout the magazine feature cheery young models and the bright colors of early 1970s clothing and decor. Most of the models are White, but one likely represents a Turkish or Arab immigrant.

Offered here: No. 14 (1974). No holdings in WorldCat or the catalog of the Danish Royal Library.

CONDITION: Minor wear to spine fold on overwrap.
