Exhibition of hundred of portraits and postcard images of the Mapuche Indians of Chile taken by 19th and 20th century photographers Christian Valck, Obder Heffer Bissett and Gustavo Milet Ramírez, among others. Text offers an interesting analysis of the importance of photography in the anthropological research of the Mapuche ethnic and cultural identity. The collection is mainly from the archives of the Natural History Museum in Santiago de Chile and the exhibition was curated by Margarita Alvarado P. and Pedro Mege Rosso.
