Set of four vintage original 8 x 10" (20 x 25 cm) and 7 x 9" (18 x 23 cm) black-and-white photos, photo agency stickers on verso, overall just about fine. Portrait of Lincoln appearing in a legendary off-Broadway production of Jean Genet's The Blacks, date stamped April 7, 1961, with small newspaper clipping on verso; Portrait of Lincoln in the film Nothing But a Man;. Two portraits from the 1968 film For Love of Ivy, in which she co-starred with Sidney Poitier. One is double weight with notation "Photoplay Feb. page 59" on verso, the other with printed text on verso. Abbey Lincoln was a distinguished jazz vocalist, actress, and civil rights activist.
