Brusca, a student of The School of Visual Arts, rose to fame after a solo exhibition in 1969 at the Bonino Galleria. He was welcomed amongst fringe artistic circuits/club scenes of New York and critically praised for his oft-erotic airbrushed paintings. Both men would later die of AIDS-related complications in the early 90's. Uncommon signed.
