England, 1850. Very good. Some minor points of surface wear and light discoloration.. A scarce example of a full sheet of lace papers produced for valentine manufacturing, with all six panels remaining uncut and intact with the exception of one (lower right-hand butterfly). Each has either a butterfly or a leafy plant in the central cartouche. The sheet was embossed, gilt, and die-cut to create its "lace" effect. Measures approx. 6" by 7". Each panel measures 3" by 2.25
