United Artists. No binding. Just About Fine. Vintage original 22 x 28" (56 x 72 cm) half sheet poster, style A. Backed with conservation paper, a tiny amount of conservation in white background above the word "VIOLENCE", overall just about fine or even slightly better. The film was very quickly retitled as Gun Crazy during its initial release. Hence, any Deadly is the Female posters are unusually scarce because they were so quickly discarded in favor of the retitled posters (all of which had entirely different artwork). Distributor United Artists created two entirely different half sheets for this film, labeled styles A and B. This poster is the style A version. This poster is extremely scarce -- Heritage auctioned the B style only twice, once in 2004 for $920 and once in 2007 for $717, and that last sale was nineteen years ago. Furthermore, Heritage has never auctioned any example of this style A.
