A high society organization's cook book from the Philadelphia area -- Chester County, to be exact. About half the pages are advertisements of businesses in Philadelphia and Chester County, plus a few in other nearby places. Contributors of the recipes are credited. The book kicks off with a recipe for a coffee souffle that came from Grace Coolidge, then first lady. Her recipe is shown as a facsimile or photo image of the notepaper onto which it was typed. 8vo. 23.5 by 15.5 cm. 105 pp. The book is well-preserved, with moderate wear.
