Pictorial endpapers. 26 mounted color plates on gray paper with tissue guards, plus black and white illustrations and decorations. Vellum rubbed at edges and hinges, with a bit of scuffing, not affecting the gilt; boards yawning slightly; ribbon ties perished; foxing to the preliminaries, else a very good copy.

One of 500 numbered copies signed by Nielsen. This is number 219.
