Eugen Berthold Friedrich Brecht (1898-1956) "was a German theatre practitioner, playwright, and poet" (n.b., per Wiki). Several versions of his complete works have been published, this publication complete in these six volumes.

___DESCRIPTION: Six paperback volumes, printed on very thin paper, octavo size (7 1/2" by 4 3/8"), approx. 4000 pages, please note that all text is in German. Enclosed in a thin cardboard slipcase.

___CONDITION: Volumes near fine, clean, the spines not cracked, square text blocks, the interiors clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; a few volumes with light bumping to the corners, else fine, in appearance unread. The slipcase was not sturdy enough for the weight of the books, and is cracked at many of the seams.
