A Flying Trip to the Tropics: A Record of an Ornithological Visit ... in the Year 1892
- Cambridge: At the Riverside Press, 1895
Presentation copy to a Mrs. H. D. Gilbert, signed by the author, as Capt., U.S. Artilery. AS this book surfaced in Tucson, it is likely that Mrs. Gilbert was the well known landscape and portrait artist and wife of H. D. Gilbert, a prominent early citizen noted for commissioning a two story bay window in his home, a rarity for its time.
A chronicle of the 1892 expeditioni to collect bird specimens in South America (principally Columbia) and Curaçao.
